tables and plugins

I am Administrator of site I created: http://www.isuga.wordpress.com

I want to work with TABLES and installed a plugin on my computer, but I can find no “Polugin” menu on my dashboard. I can also not find where to change network settings or other things referred to on foruzms.

I am a bit surprised that in all your installed widgets there is nothing for working with tables. Is there a solution to this? Why can’t I see any plugins? Is “widget” the same as “plugin”, if so, why a different word?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Please, in the name of all that his holy, do a search for “plugins.” I have answered this question ten or eleven times today alone.

Since you have a WordPress.com blog, please use the support documents here at WordPress.com, rather than information that is designed for WordPress.org blogs.

Widgets and plugins are different things.

None of the forum replies make any sense, referring to things that peopel assume someone should know or don’t exist.

Widgets and plugins may be different things but on the WordPress support page a query about plugins refers me to widgets.

I have downloaded plugins but there is nobody who explains how to use them and there is no plugins option on my dashboard menus and the downloaded plugin is not under widgets either.

People refer to network settings but that is not visible either.

I find THIS on the WP site: “Plugins can extend WordPress to do almost anything you can imagine. In the directory you can find, download, rate, and comment on all the best plugins the WordPress community has to offer.”

… whhch is NO use at all if you are given no idea how to install, find and use these 29,084 plugins once you have downloaded them. I found a hint somewhere that only certain themes even ALLOW plugins, but that took me hours to find and is it even true? How do you KNOW whether a theme takes plugins?

All I want to do is basic work with tables, which WordPress seems crap at.

AS for “Do a search for plugis”, I have spent 6 hours doling tbhis and folund .loads of comments and none of them makes any sense, as explained.

WHY can’t I see a plugin menu on my dashboard? NOBODY has answered this simple question. SHOULD I see one? Ditto? HOW can I get a plugin menu? Ditto.

I would not USE a forum if I could FIND what I am looking for, but if it’s too much trouble please don’t bother.

    Let’s keep this simple, then.

You cannot use plugins. You can use widgets.

    Plugins

    Widgets
