Tabs
-
I have a simple blog at the minute. All my posts are under ‘home’ and there is one ‘about me’ page.
I have got behind on writing and I am still talking about my travels in Bali, but in order to catch up and separate the content out, I would like to have a ‘home’ page, a tab for my Bali posts, a tab for my Australia posts and a tab for my Vegan Diaries. I want all of them will be updated with different blogs.
A page would not be suitable as it does not allow you to have multiple posts.
I have tried to create a custome link, however, that is just putting all my posts on the home page on the new customer link page. It looks like I need a completely different URL.
I want the home page to just be like a welcome and explanation about what is going on in my blog.
Then under the Bali tab I want to have multiple posts about my travels around Bali. Then the same for my Australia travels etc. etc.
Is this possible?
I hope all this makes sense.
Thanks,

Hi Jack –
You can assign the posts to the three different categories.
1. Bali
2. Australia
3. VeganOpen each post and find Categories & Tags menu tab on the left of your screen.
After you get the posts categorized, you can add that category to your menu. Here’s how: https://en.support.wordpress.com/menus/
Now, we can’t stop your posts from displaying on the assigned ‘post’ page. In this case, your posts are going to show on your home page but they will be separated by category in each of those additional tabs 1. Bali 2. Australia 3. Vegan Diaries.
Another option is that we assign your posts to all publish on an invisible page, that is not linked in your menu and you could set up a static front page.
More on that here:
