I also posted a blog earlier to see what happens and its under uncategorized? I cant figure out how to create a blog tab and move it there. I hope this makes sense!

Hi there,
How do I add tabs to the top of my website? I have a home page but I want to put blog posts under one, create an about, and create a contact page but I cant figure out how
First, you’ll need to create pages for all of those, under Pages ->Add New in the dashboard.
Depending on your theme, that might then automatically create a site menu with links to those pages. But if not, you can create a custom menu in the Customizer at Appearance ->Customize ->Menus. You can find detailed instructions for the self-hosted version of WordPress you’re using here:
https://wordpress.org/support/article/appearance-customize-screen/#menus
I also posted a blog earlier to see what happens and its under uncategorized?
That’s the default category used if you don’t assign a category to a post.
You can assign categories and tags to posts in the editor while you’re writing them, and you can change the default category for your site under Settings ->Writing in the dashboard:

I cant figure out how to create a blog tab and move it there.
To create a blog page on your site, go to Pages ->Add New and add a new page titled Blog.
Then you can assign that page as your site’s posts page at Appearance ->Customize ->Homepage settings.
For more help with the version of WordPress you’re using on your site, you can ask the WordPress.org community at https://wordpress.org/support/forums/
The forum you’re posting to now provides support for sites hosted with us on WordPress.com, and your site isn’t hosted here, just connected here via the Jetpack plugin.
