Tabs on Blog site

Hi, I would like to know how to add tabs for different subjects on my blog. How do I create separate sections to publish entries that I are different subjects? For example, I write about vegtebales, fruit, and meat, so I would like to have a tab/section for each subject. One for vegetables, one for fruit, one for meat.
Does that make sense?The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Makes perfect sense! You can assign “categories” to your blog posts to match your different subjects. This automatically creates category “.pages” which can be linked from your menu.
