Tabs vs. Pages in Twenty Eleven Theme

  • Unknown's avatar

Hello! I just started my blog and I’m trying to figure out how to add separate tabs at the top. I assumed they were considered “pages,” so I clicked on “add page,” but it added a page and would only show up if I added the page widget in the sidebar. I assumed it would show up as an added “tab”/page at the top of my blog posts (next to the tabs that say “home” and “contact”). Is there any way to add “tabs”? I hope this makes sense — I’m not sure of the proper term for what I’m calling “tabs”!
    Thanks.

    Hi there!

If I understand correctly, you want to add new pages to the black menu bar, right? As I said, that is a menu, so you can customize it from the Customizer > Menus, and click on Add Items to add the pages you want to appear. Take a look at this help page for specific instructions and images of the process: https://en.support.wordpress.com/menus/

I hope this helps, but feel free to come back if you have any questions!
