Tag archives

In the tag archives, the page you see when you click a tag, the featured images are huge and impractical. Is there a setting somewhere for customising the look of tag archive pages?
(I could make a page for each and use the ‘blog post’ block which is much tidier, but I’ve got too many tags for that to be practical)

Hi there,
Which site is this for? I see you have a few on your account.
Can you share a link to one of your tag archive pages (that shows this issue of large images) so we can take a closer look? Thanks!

The archive one: https://mystingsarchiveunofficialcollection.wordpress.com/tag/about-stings/
On my screen at least, the featured images take up the entire width of the screen, and are accordingly tall

Hi there,
This is how the Mayland theme you’re using is designed to look on archive pages. If you look at the demo site, you’ll see it does the same thing on the main posts page (you don’t currently have a posts page set on your site):

The only way to change this is to override the theme’s design by adding custom CSS code to get the look you want. Custom CSS can be used on our Premium Plan or higher.
