Tag “C ” is valid or not?
-
I tried to use “C++” as tag but after publish, it became something different, like “C#”, or “C-2”. Is ‘+’ not valid char in tag?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Someone had the same problem as you a few months ago. Unfortunately there is no easy workaround:

@sy8111, the plus sign is a reserved URL character and generally only allowed in query strings such as this: http://en.support.wordpress.com/?s=c+%2B+%2B . Since tag and category names become part of the URLs for tags and category pages, the reserved and forbidden URL characters are not allowed. You can see from the above example that it would look like crap and almost no one would even know what it really was supposed to be.

@airodyssey, workaround is easy but can also be difficult if no one come forward to solve it. One simple method come straight out of my head is:
using incrementing counter as part of tag slug for different tags with conliding slugs.
