Tag Cloud Installed – No Tags Showing

  I’m stuck…I’ve installed the Tag Cloud…posted Tags, but they aren’t showing up. What am I doing wrong?

  Tags and categories will not show up in the sidebar widgets until they have been assigned to at least one published post because if they did, they would not lead anywhere. They would return a 404 not found error.

  One last question…After looking at one of the other forum posts I went to my CSS to change the height for the tag cloud criteria…I can’t even locate the tag cloud marker in there…then I looked for #sidebar ul to change the height and I couldn’t find that…I hosed something up…I don’t think I have the original CSS in there because when I preview it…very unusual things happen, wrong colors, larger font, etc….think it’s possible to fix…

  I was trying to adjust the tag cloud spacing…everything was crunching together…

  What do you mean the height of the tag cloud criteria? The spacing between lines or the size of the font?

  I suppose it’s the spacing between the lines…as the font grows it crowds out the other lettering…it runs into one another….looking messy…again, I was reading from another post and trying to apply the information…I may not be referencing it correctly, but basically…the words in the cloud jumble together and look messy rather than…neat, cool, and functional…

  @colleen, that only happens in a couple of themes and every time I come across one where it does happen I report it to staff so that they can fix the issue.

  You won’t know if it will be an issue for you until you get a few more posts up and tagged and the font sizes start to vary in the tag cloud widget.
