Tag Cloud Limits
-
I am creating a page of tags so i can click on them to go to various pages in a private site. However the slider as indicated here https://wordpress.com/support/posts/tags/ only allows up to 100 tags to be shown.
Is there a way of showing more than 100 tags on a page?
WP.com: Yes

Hi! The tag cloud indeed does not list more than 100 tags; it doesn’t have a way to increase that. Perhaps we can suggest a different method, would you like to share more about what you’re intending to achieve with the tag links?
The reason I ask is that a list or cloud of more than 100 tags can end up being a lot for a visitor to look at; it could be worth breaking your links into smaller sections or categories; for example you could use a navigation block to create drop-down menus for tags and/or categories:

Hi, sure, the blog I am writing is mainly for me, (https://wheretheshadowsaredeep.wordpress.com/) it is to jot done notes on healthy stuff, mainly food but also stuff good for the mind. Because most of it would be food I want to use the tag cloud to find things of a similar nature
There are only 3 posts on it at the moment all are in the bean family so ive use 4 tags – https://wheretheshadowsaredeep.wordpress.com/about/ – as I start adding recipes for example then I can see the tags getting numerous and potentially over 100

@h4hh , if you don’t necessarily need a cloud format, you could also consider using categories and subcategories instead. You can list all categories:
https://wordpress.com/support/wordpress-editor/blocks/categories-list-block/Or, if you do need the cloud format, you can periodically take look at the tags you’re using and consolidate any that don’t have multiple posts.
