Tag cloud messed up?
-
Hello all, I run two wp-based blogs on my own servers but decided to go for new one on here, as I am having less time lately to go through updates and the like.
I wrote my first post earlier and decided to take advantage of tags; however I made a little mistake and wrote them without separating them by commas, just spaces. I immediately noticed that the tag cloud had a single entry that exceeded the sidebar’s width and said “healthcare hospitals bureaucracy doctors surgeries taxe”.
I went to edit the post and change that into “bureaucracy, doctors, healthcare, hospitals, surgeries, taxes” and now the tags are correctly displayed beneath my post, but the tag cloud hasn’t changed at all. I tried removing it form the sidebar and adding it again, but to no avail: I have that enormous mega-tag, and the correct shorter tags aren’t there. Is there anything I can do to reset the tag cloud?
Oh, the address is http://chroniclesofitaly.wordpress.com/ .
Thank you!

The data is cached and there is a time delay before the deletion will change the display.

In the meanwhile why don’t you just pull the widget out of the sidebar. Also note that the theme you chose has quirks http://faq.wordpress.com/2007/02/21/blix-theme-quirks/

Thank you, I thought it was immediate. I’m going to do some more theme testing, I had settled on this because it looked decent enough for testing. :)

You’re welcome. There are theme reviews of most but not all of the themes that may be helpful here http://internetducttape.com/tools/wordpress/wordpress-theme-reviews/
