Tag cloud size limit – still 45??

    Is there still a limitation on the number of tags displayed by the tag cloud? I read the description of tag clouds in the support area, which lists a limit of 45, but the widget creation form lists a default of 75, and I would like to know if I can show an unlimited number of tags. I don’t see an answer to the question in the forums.

    Is there an alternate way to create a menu that displays tags, and that dynamically changes with the addition of new tags?

    Thanks for pointing this out! We recently changed the maximum number of tags for the tag cloud widget to 75 tags, and I’ve updated the support page to reflect that change: Tag Cloud Widget

    There isn’t a way to show an unlimited number of tags at this time. The problem with showing an unlimited number of tags is that huge numbers of tags could significantly slow down your site’s loading time, making it difficult for visitors to load your site and view it. However, the tag cloud widget will display your most commonly used tags.

    Some themes also display tags in different ways. For example the Spectrum theme has an option to display your tags in the footer, and it currently displays up to 250 tags.
