tag feed wierdness posts disappearing

Has anybody noticed that posts have been disappearing, then sometimes reappearing for a while and then disappearing from the tag feeds.For example this post
http://western-hindu.org/2010/07/29/article-welcome-to-new-saivite-hindu/ appeared in the tag feed briefly but has now gone, though the previous post is in the same feed here, http://en.wordpress.com/tag/hinduism/3/ though it did not show up initially.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

The order in which your posts appear in the wordpress.com global tag pages under the categories and tags you assigned to them is by date/timestamp as at the date and time of publication of the post. As there are many people blogging and as their posts are fresher their posts appear on the first page of the assigned categories and/or tags. Therefore the posts from just days and even hours agao are pushed onto the deeper pages very quickly.

Thanks I know that. This is not what is happening here, if you go back through the feed you will find the previous post but not the latest one.

Another important thing to check when and if you cannot locate your post in the global tag pages there are several possible explanations: http://en.support.wordpress.com/global-tags/#missing-posts
Also note that if you edit a post and remove tags and or categories the edit date is not where you will find the post displaying. It will be displayed under the original date of publication of the post. -

I don’t think its any of those reasons. I have noticed it happening a lot recently. Incidentally I have discovered that it does appear on the XML RSS tag feedhttp://en.wordpress.com/tag/hinduism/feed/
though not on the tag page

I have reported some feed weirdness to staff as well recently, and it is unresolved at this point. It seems to affect only certain blogs.

OK, embarrassment time
I contacted support, they said that they they could see my post on the feed. I looked and I couldn’t. Then it clicked so I cleared my browser cache looked again and there it was. This should have been the <i>first</i> thing I tried!
