  Hi
  I know how to add tags for posts. Tags to help search engines right? if that the case and if I want to have only static pages not posts, how can I use tags to help search engines to find my website?

  Wrong. Google search spiders are primarily focused on keywords and terms in your content. It’s a fallacy to believe that
  keyword tags are required for SEO purposes because they aren’t as Matt Cutts of Google clearly states in the video here > Revisiting Keywords and Tags http://onecoolsitebloggingtips.com/2012/03/01/revisiting-keywords-and-tags/ More to the point is that Google’s algorithms can detect if categories and tags assigned to any post are keywords that are found in the text of the posts or not.

  You can because you cannot assign any categories and tags to pages.
