tag length?

  I notice that I have problems using certain tags in categorizing posts. typically, these seem to have longer than average characters. is there a limit to how characters a tag can be? I’ve been trying to use one about 22-23 characters, with no luck.

  Odd question, I know, but can anyone help?

  Shouldn’t be. What do you mean by ‘use’ and what’s occuring?

  I write a post, as usual and + categories, if I am writing a post for which I don’t currently have a category. So far, so good. However, when I try to +category of more than 22-23 characters, it just spins and spins. I try a second later and add a shorter category – no problem.

  Could there be a character limit on how long a category can be?

  Have you tried adding them from the Manage->Categories screen, or just the write post screen?
