Tag Line font
-
Hi all,
I just upgraded from Personal to Business. The tag line used to be the same font as the Site Title which was ok to me. Switching to Business, the Tagline font switched from a Arial style font to Times New Roman, and the title remained the same.
I found this set of instruction to customize the tag line :/* START OF Change the features of the Tagline */
.navbar-wrapper .navbar h2, h2.site-description {
/* Change (red) font color */
color: red;
/* Change (Garamond) font family */
font-family: Garamond;
/* Change (20px) font size */
font-size: 20px;
/* Change (19%) move to left */
padding-right: 19%;
/* Change (normal) italic-normal-oblique */
font-style: normal;
}
/* END OF Change the features of the Tagline */and installed it in :
Apparence, Theme, Customize button on the theme I am using, additional CSS.It doesn’t change anything.
What am i doing wrong ?
Thank you for your help

Hi, we’d be happy to help. It looks like the font headings are being unset for whatever reason, and we’ll need to figure that out.
First of all, can you go here and ensure you’ve specified the fonts you wish to use? From the editor, click on the
Aat the top and pick your font pairing, or specify your own heading and base fonts. You can do that here if you need a clear example:
https://patricklibois.com/wp-admin/post.php?post=278&action=editOnce you’ve chosen your fonts, publish the changes, and update us here to let us know if that fixes it. If it does not, we may need to report a bug, but we can give you a CSS patch to address it in the meantime.

Hi Supernovia,
Magic, this works !
Surprisingly when specified “Font of the theme” the problem I described happens, but when picking a specific font it works.
I’m happy it can be fixed that way, but there might be a slight bug to solve here.Thank you for your time

I’m glad to hear it! We’ll do more digging on a test site to see if we can figure out how that was unset, but I’m glad that took care of things for you. Cheers!
