Tag Placement

How do I move the location of my tags from the top of the blog post to the bottom of the blog post. Or remove their appearance altogether? Thanks! Jill

The only really simple way to do this is to switch to a theme that puts tags at the bottom (or doesn’t display them).

How do you know which theme does not display them, or where each theme puts them? Is there a list of which themes do what?

You can use the search utility and Feature Filters in your Dashboard > Appearance > Browse Themes > Feature Filters to locate themes of interest to you. (A-Z, Popular, Features)
Each theme has a thumbshot and a features summary description. You can browse and when you find one of interest you can click “Preview”. When you are ready to make your selection you can click “Activate”.

I wish I had just 1% of your knowledge, as most of the words used in the summary description mean nothing to me. I have just so many questions to which I am not able to find the answers.

where do I find clear and simple explanations (with examples) of the terms used… terms such as ‘links’; ‘tags’; ‘widget’ and many many more?

Well you can type them into Google and get definitions that way. But those definitions will not help when it comes to learning how to use them on your wordpress.com blog. WordPress.com has excellent support documentation in a living document that’s constantly being updated. The main link to the support documentation is http://en.support.wordpress.com/
All of those terms do appear in the documentation which is explanatory and illustrated and there are screencast videos in many of the entries as well.

Asking questions is an excellent way to learn new things and all the Volunteers and Staff are here to help, so if you cannot understand something and need help please post again. :)
