'Tag' search vs 'Search' search

  I’ve noticed that I get different results when I search for a tag at https://wordpress.com/tags/ as opposed to when I search for the same tag at http://en.search.wordpress.com. Are the searches at https://wordpress.com/tags/ time-limited?

  Hi there,

  There are a couple differences between those searches. For one, the WordPress.com search at http://en.search.wordpress.com/ includes more than just tags — it can search the full text of a post and its comments for your keywords, so it might include more posts because of that.

  Also, Tags in the Reader (what you’re searching at https://wordpress.com/tags/) only include recent posts (about a couple months worth), so you won’t see some of the much older posts that might appear in the other search results.
