Tag Surfer

  I posted a blog with a tag.
  I checked tag surfer.
  My post does not show up under that tag.
  Why is that?

  There are thousands of people that use that tag and I am sure that not all make it to the tag surfer all the time! Sometimes it takes time for the posts to show under the global tagging system, but in terms of the tag surfer, I don’t imagine it shows “every” post.

  What determines which posts are listed under tag surfer?

  If there is no directory nor index and the tag surfer does not list my posts, does my blog just vanish into a black hole not to be found by anyone?

  Posts with a tag end up in the global tag system, such as http://wordpress.com/tag/trent/ , but they might not always show up in the tag surfer in your dashboard. How posts go in is something I am not privy to!
