Tag/Functionality

I cannot add new tags on my blog I can only use old existing tags that have been used before. I cannot figure out how to manage my blog in the sense of seeing all posts at once such as drafts, scheduled and current posts at once I can only see them in category. I cannot find where I can go to review comments made on my blog to approve them or delete them.

These issues all arose when I was forced into the new system and I did not have any issues with the old system. If you can tell me where to find my managerial tools I would appreciate that. As for tags I was trying to use the tag “Garth Nix” for a blog I’ve scheduled for July. I typed in the tag and hit enter and this did not work it will stay grayed out and then disappear if I try to do something else unlike the tag “fantasy” which I have been using for some time on my blog posts. How do I create and add new tags?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  • Hi there. You can reach the old dashboard (called the WP-Admin dashboard) by clicking on the WP-Admin link on the My Sites page, or add “wp-admin/” at the end of your WordPress.com URLs, or you can bookmark this direct link: http://bookinthebag.wordpress.com/wp-admin/ If you create and edit posts via Posts ->Add New/All Posts on that dashboard, you’ll find the classic editor where everything should work as you’re used to. You’ll also find the comments section on that dashboard where you can manage all comments.

There are a number of workarounds devised by another user that will force your browser to always go to the classic editor, even when you click on a link to the new editor. See here for details: http://git.io/wpcom-restore-classic-ed

Let me know if you need more help.
