Tagged posts not showing up under Reader topics

  I have recently noticed a drop-off in traffic to my blog and now realize that the timing coincides with my blog posts not showing up in the Reader topics under which they are tagged. For instance, my most recent post is tagged under “New York City” but does not show up under that topic category. I’ve been checking this issue for a few weeks now and my posts are just not being recorded under tagged topics.

  I searched the forums and found that other bloggers have posted about this issue but there are no replies to their queries and the topic threads are listed as closed.

  This is what I see at the bottom of a single post:

Tags: Al Gore global warming, Billy Hart, Cafe Boulud coq au vin, Carla Gallo, cold weather in southern california, Jazz at Lincoln Center, Kathleen Turner, Life, Mark Turner saxophone, New York City, pigeons new york city, Punxsutawney Phil, Rudy Giuliani, Weather.

  You are inadvertently spamdexing and that’s why your posts are not displaying on the Topics pages. Will you please check out the reasons for non-appearance here?

  When it comes to Categories and Tags, assigning the least combined number of relevant ones is the rule of thumb.

  As you have assigned a combined total that exceeds 15 Categories/Tags to your posts, you need to edit and delete. http://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/edit-posts-screen/ After removal note it may take several days for your posts to begin displaying there.
