Tagging pages or turning them into posts?

  I have created pages for my dropdown and inserted pages beneath these (As child pages I believe)
  When I realised I wasn’t tagging these pages I wondered if I am missing out on driving people to my blog.
  I cant figure out if I can put posts beneath these parent pages, or tag pages somehow. Or if I need to ditch the static parent pages altogether.
  Any advice would be most appreciated!

  You can’t tag pages. You will need to make Posts instead and use categories to separate them out. Pages have virtually no googlejuice, but posts have a lot.
