  I used to have images and even tags suggested for me until I started messing around with various themes. After coming back to my original theme, I don’t have this tool. Can you help me?

  That sounds like the Zemanta feature. It has been removed from WordPress.com. See https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/removing-zemanta-integration?replies=1
