Tagline does not display in Rubric Theme.
-
I just now switched to the Rubric Theme. The Tagline does not display under the title of the blog.
How can I get the Tagline to display under the title?
Thank you.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Some themes display the tagline and some do not. It was the choice of the theme designer. See this blog post for which themes show a tagline and which do not: http://wpbtips.wordpress.com/2009/08/02/tagline/ .

Don’t post your email in a public forum; we won’t email you, but thousands of spammers will.

Can I edit the Rubric Theme so that the Tagline can be displayed?
I like the 2-column Rubric Theme with the wide posting column. If I cannot edit the Rubrtic Them to display the Tagline I will try to find a similar them from the link above, thanks to “thesacredpath.”

No. That would require hacking the underlying theme files and we cannot do that here.
In some instances, if you have a good knowledge of CSS, your can use inline CSS within a text widget to place a text widget up in the header area to display a tagline. It doesn’t work in all themes though and I have no idea if it would work in Rubric or not.

Shucks. I have no talent with inline CSS. I will either settle with the Rubric Theme or find one with nearly the same 2-column dimension and appearance.
Thank you.

You can add a text widget at the top of your sidebar with your tagline in it. Many people do that.

Yeap. Rubric Theme is an excellent theme. I will settle with the Rubric Theme if there is nothing similar in the link you provided.
Thank you.

Rubrick has a customizable header, but it tiles, so if you include the tagline on it, you’ll get it repeated four times.

@tsp (re 4.03 AM post): No it doesn’t really work in Rubrick, because the horizontal positioning is measured from the sidebar area, not the whole page; so, since Rubrick is a flexible-width theme, the element will move to the left or to the right if you drag the browser window to make it narrower or wider; I can’t think of a way to fix an element below the title.
If the OP doesn’t mind having the tagline in the header image area instead of below the title, the code to use is this:
<div style="position:absolute;top:-140px;right:74px;"> Tagline here </div> -
