I have seen a list stated that the theme Garland does’nt show the tagline.
I would really like mine to show, so is there any way to work round that?My blog is: http://tagteamcoaching.wordpress.com/

You can use a text widget and move it up there using inline CSS, but sometimes that doesn’t work out too well. My suggestion would be to put it in a text widget and then put that text widget at the top of the left sidebar.

Yes, the simplest solution is a text widget at the top of the sidebar. The other suggestion does work in Garland, but design-wise I’m not sure it would look right. Anyway, to give you the right code for that, we need you to tell us what your tagline is and where exactly you’d like it to be.

Hi guys.
Thank you for your responses. I am new to this, and have just been doing this for a couple of weeks so I dont have any CSS experience at all.
Thought about a textwidget too, but tried a LED banner there to start with. That wasn’t ideal cause it became a focuspoint when reading so it took away the attention to the main page. So took that away. But my tagline is: For deg som søker personlig utvikling
Thanks.

Ok, then try this in a titleless text widget in your left sidebar and let me know if you like it or what you’d like changed:
<div align="center" style="position:absolute;width:100%;top:-64px;right:19px;color:#fff;font-size:78%;">For deg som søker personlig utvikling</div> -
I only say: Thanks a million Pana!
It was a very nice solution and i liked it.Thanks again for your help, its really appreciated.
