Hi Shelby,
Displaying the site title and tagline content in the header is a function of a site’s theme, in your case, Blix. That particular theme has actually been retired. (You can keep it on your blog if you’d like, but we don’t offer it to new blogs choosing themes.)
However, looking at the source it doesn’t appear that Blix is meant to load the tagline in the site header, just in the page title (the tagline does appear in the browser tab):
Did your site previously load the tagline in the header? If so, it’s possible there have been recent changes to how WordPress’s core software treats headers in a way that Blix isn’t meant to handle when it was retired last year.
My recommendation would be to switch a to a newer theme available here:
If you’re feeling adverturous with Custom CSS, you could also look into adding the tagline with an “::after” selector.

One other question while I have you here, I noticed your blog has multiple upgrades. All of these are included in our Premium plan, and the plan will actually be less expensive. Do you mind if I switch your blog over to that premium plan instead of the separate upgrades?
If you were planning on ending any of the separate upgrades, I’d understand. But since you’ve had them all for a while I figured I’d ask and save you a bit of money and hassle. :)
Let me know!
Best,

Hi Alex! Thanks for checking in on me and for the helpful info on this template design. I customized it awhile back, so it was hard to remember, but I thought at one point my tagline did show up. I’ll figure something out regarding that. In the meantime, certainly you have my permission to save me some money! I’ll take the Primium Plan.
Thanks you for your great service!!!
Best,

Hi Shelby,
Switched you over to the Premium plan. This includes all of the upgrades you had, saves a bit of money, and it’s all in one neat package now. :)
Sorry again about the troubles with the tagline! If you do decide to tinker with the CSS, we have a CSS customization support forum where a lot of folks help with code:
