  I should mention, that it is possible to actually relocate a text widget with an HTML trick, but it does not work in all themes, and since you did not include a link to your blog, I don’t know if it is possible with your theme or not.

  This is the code, and you will have to play with positioning and then replace the text “This is my tagline” with the hyperlink code.
