Tagline missing on Sequence theme

  The title and tagline are set to show, but the tagline doesn’t show in the Sequence theme.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Actually, the name of the theme is Sequential.

  Hi,

  With any theme activated, you’ll find a field for the tagline at General Settings and at Customize > Site Identity, but the tagline doesn’t show on every theme. Sequential is one of the themes on which the tagline does not display.

  Hi there,

  Sequential does enable you to override this default design settings: Navigate to the Theme Options panel of the WordPress.com Customizer and check the option next to “Display tagline below site title.” Your tagline will then display after saving the changes. :)

  I’m glad you found it, Mary! I can definitely see where the confusion came up here, with the misleading “Display site title and tagline” option, and will bring it up with the team.
