Tagline not in same line as headline

  Hi there,
  I’ve recently added a tag line to my headline in the free libre theme. Unfortunately, the first word of the tagline moves into the same line as the headline, rather than the whole tagline staying below the tagline as envisaged. Anything I can do about that, given that I’m using a free theme and can’t edit the CSS, at least not that I know of.
