Tagline not showing
-
I am trying to get the tagline to show under the title of the blog, but it is not working when I click save and publish. I am using the Sketch theme.Thank you
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Not all themes are designed to show the tagline. Sketch is one of them.
However I can see that Sketch is hiding the tagline using CSS. We can unhide it using the following CSS but it requires the paid Custom Design upgrade.
.site-description { display: block; } -
I’m also trying to do the same thing, have just changed my blog invisiblehorse.wordpress.com to the Sketch theme from Oulipo, and I can’t get the tagline to appear under the title – just as you describe. Hope you don’t mind me adding my voice here without being able to offer a solution (as yet!)

The solution is above your post. If you do not have the Custom Design upgrade, you will not be able to do it.

I’ve got round it another way – by adding an extra Text Widget to the top of the sidebar and using the title of the widget to express my tagline ‘Living in the moment’. This is visible at the top of the page on the computer screen view but of course the tagline appears at the bottom of the page on a tablet or phone.
