Hello there,
robert-hamilton.com is a wordpress.ORG software install on paid hosting, hosted by Name Cheap
Name Servers:
dns1.namecheaphosting.com
dns2.namecheaphosting.comThat site is not on WordPress.COM servers. You are posting to the wrong support forum. To be clear we do not provide support for local installs of WordPress.ORG software, or for WordPress.ORG software installs on paid hosting, linked to WordPress.COM accounts with the Jetpack plugin so they display on the My Sites WordPress.COM account page.
WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different username accounts, logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support documentation and separate support forums. Read the differences here http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
The wordpress.ORG support forum is at http://wordpress.org/support. The wordpress.ORG login link is here https://login.wordpress.org/ If you do not have an account yet then click Create an account https://login.wordpress.org/register/ and if you have lost an account password click Lost password? https://login.wordpress.org/lostpassword/
WordPress.org support docs are at https://codex.wordpress.org/Main_PageI suggest you open a new thread over in wordpress.org/support for faster help.
I’ve also found this thread in wordpress.org, I think it could be of help.

Pique does not display the site title and tagline on smaller screens. You can override that with custom CSS as follows:
@media (max-width: 767px) { .site-branding .site-title, .site-description { display: inherit; } }Put this in your Customizer’s Additional CSS spanel.
As drunkentennis mentioned, these forums are for sites hosted on WordPress.com, but you’re running the WordPress software on your own hosting. If you need further help with the self-hosted version of Pique, feel free to post in its forum at WordPress.org:

drunkentennis – thanks for helping out here. In future, please avoid sending folks to the general WordPress.org support forums for Automattic themes – we’ll never spot their thread there. :) You can send them to the theme’s specific forum, instead, as I’ve done above.
I’ve also found this thread in wordpress.org, I think it could be of help.
https://wordpress.org/support/topic/display-site-tagline-in-mobile-theme/CSS is generally theme-specific, so unless you’ve tested it it with the user’s theme (ideally right on the user’s site, using a browser inspector) it’s best to pass along CSS for the same theme only; the CSS above is for Twenty Sixteen.

Kathryn –
Thank you for the instructions. I’m trying my best to learn how to properly volunteer in WP forums. You have been a great mentor :)

drunkentennis – that’s very kind. :) “When in doubt, help out” is a good motto to keep in mind. i.e. rather than sending folks elsewhere immediately, if it’s something you can help with (like a bit of CSS) do feel free to provide that here first, before pointing folks elsewhere for further support. Thanks for pitching in here, it’s appreciated!
