Tagline on Sketch Theme
-
Hello. I am considering switching my theme to Sketch. I have a tagline on my current theme (Twenty Ten). I have test blog that is not public where I have been playing with the Sketch theme. I have added the title and tagline in the appropriate places when customizing the header and title, but the tagline does not show up. Any help would be appreciated.
My main blog (so you can see the title and tagline): http://healthcontinuum.org
My test blog: https://juliezimmer.wordpress.com
Many thanks.

Not all themes have taglines.
I do not see one here https://wordpress.com/themes/sketch
And I do not see one here https://sketchdemo.wordpress.com/ -
Many thanks, TimeThief. I found it odd that, when customising the theme, it had a space for a tagline. But no matter, that is why I tried it out on my test blog first. I will look for another theme.
Thank you for taking the time to reply.
Julie
PS – My husband, John Zimmer, says hello.

We all have the Tagline line to enter on this page > Dashboard > Settings > General but only some themes are designed to display Taglines.
P.S. Say hi from me to John. :)

Hi Julie, did you find a solution?
I had the same problem, came up with a fix, but not sure if I like it much – seems too big :-) but sadly the font cannot be changed.
Let me know if this is what you need.

Another option here.

If you have access to Custom CSS, you can display the tagline in Sketch and change its appearance – size, font, colour, etc. – however you like.
If any of you would like specific help with the code to do that, let me know.
