  Hello,

  I can’t seem to figure out how to change the tagline text colour to white.

  Do you have a premium or business account (paid accounts)? If so, try adding the following CSS code into your site:

  .site-description {
  color: white;
  }

  Hi,

  I unfortunately don’t have a paid account so I’m not able to apply the code. After a bit more research it appears that this is unfortunately one of the things, that can’t be changed on a free blog.

  I am currently using the Baskerville 2 theme and yes, ashtonjkoch.wordpress.com is my site.

  Hi @ashtonjkoch,

  No worries! I think there is something we might be able to do to help achieve what you’re looking for :)

  Have you considered adding a logo to your site? In your theme, if you replaced your site title and tagline with a logo with the same information (title and tagline), then you can control all formatting parameters of the logo – font, color, size, etc.

  This support page contains a good overview on adding logos.

  It would involve spending a little bit of time creating your logo with the title and tagline, but it might be worth it :) I added a screenshot of where you would be making such changes once the logo is created, please see link below:

  

  Note: Make sure you uncheck the box for “Display Site Title and Tagline”, to remove them from your site page, but leave the actual title and tagline in Site Identity so search engines will still read them.
