Taglines, search engines and black hat optimization

Hi, I’ve noticed that when I Google my blog (www.mindlessones.com) my tagline doesn’t appear beneath the site name and I’m wondering why this is. Now, I’m assuming that taglines are supposed to occupy the space in question, but if not I’m wondering if and how I can create such text.

I should stress that I had, up until today, hidden my tagline using CSS (visibility: hidden), but now I’ve merely made the text invisible by colouring it white. Am I running into problems because I’m using black hat techniques? If so, that’s rather irritating because I’m not trying to fool any search engines, just sticking to my minimalist look by doing away with superfluous text.

    Thanks in advance.
