Tags are a great way for people to find your posts. To add them to your blog, you will want to go the Categories & Tags module to the right of the post editor and follow the steps outlined here:
If you’re wondering about whether to use categories or tags — or both — this provides a clear breakdown of the difference between the two:
Essentially, Categories cover a broader scope (for example, “Breakfast”) while Tags go into more detail (“cereal,” “toast,” etc.)
To ensure your post is indexed properly, it’s best to use only the relevant categories and tags that accurately describe the content. It’s also not advised to use the same keyword or keyword phrase as both a category and a tag.
