Tags are not showing-for a long time

The tag cloud in the sidebar has not been showing the tags since January 12, 08 and for 19 posts. I’ve cleared my computer cache and all that… it isn’t a problem with my computer. The tag cloud has been stuck before and this is a long time to be stuck again. I really like the tags, and they are very useful for the readers and searchers who come into our photoblog. I hope this can be fixed.

What is ctrl F5? I’m very careful pushing any F buttons on my computer. How will this help when it is possible that the tag cloud is stuck and it hasn’t a thing to do with my computer?

Also, to add. I have viewed my photoblog from a different computer. The tag cloud is the same as I see it from my computer. Many tags from the past 19 posts are not showing.

It’s a forced reload. No worries, nothing will explode. Your F buttons won’t hurt you.
Hit the Control button and the F5 button at the same time, Control button first. I’ll do it with you.

Anything is possible, but since we haven’t heard from any other bloggers recently on the tag cloud, we can see if it’s something specific with you first. k ?

I did a forced reload and nothing exploded. LOL Tag cloud unchanged. Specifically, couldn’t it just be the tag cloud with this particular blog… my photoblog? It has had the problem before and viewing the tag cloud from another computer, it is the same.

I just checked your blog and I see you are missing tags from the cloud. I pinged it and nothing changed as well.
Try removing the tag cloud widget, save it, then placing the widget back on and save again. See if it resets.

I’ll do some reading in the faq’s. Support might need to get on your blog. Other bloggers might pop in with suggestions as well. It will get fixed somehow!

There is a limit to the amount of tags that show in the cloud – maybe you have hit that limit. How many do you have set?

It seems you can use more words in a category cloud (for now).
I wouldn’t be surprised if wordpress isn’t working on making some changes to this tag widget though. The Category widget and Tag widget are quite different and there have been many requests for changes. The tag widget should allow for more tags to show, and should allow for the number of tags to be set. Neither are the case at the moment on tags, but they are on Categories.
The limit to the tags being 50 I believe to be your problem. You’ve hit it.

Ah so! Okay… Dang! Too bad. I’ll keep my fingers crossed (in my mind-LOL) that WordPress will make some changes and allow a bigger and wordier Tag Cloud. Hmm… I’ll work with what I got for now.
