Tags Block can’t find or load any tags

Hello everyone,
I’ve been struggling with this problem for weeks now. Essentially my “tags” block refuses to load any tags, even though the tag cloud block does. It will load categories, but not any tags. I’ve checked the following and still can’t get it to work;
- Opened up the code editor and everything looks correct with the block.
- Double-checked the JSON settings to confirm that the tags are appearing as post_tags.
- Also did this through my browser to confirm that this JSON file is accessible.
- I’ve checked that all my plugins aren’t interfering with the rest API. None are.
- Edited tags in the Dashboard to see if this would somehow regenerate them.
- Tried using Yoast SEO terms from the JSON file to see if it was somehow causing the issue, but this didn’t seem to work either.
- I’ve tried adding new tags, but these don’t appear either.
But no matter what I try, I can’t seem to get my tags to actually work. I’m currently using the tag cloud block as a work-around, but unfortunately it can only load up to 100 tags at a time and my website currently has 134.
Any advice would be appreciated. If it’s any help I’ll note some potentially important details below
