Tags disapperaing after a few days/hours

I recently added 100+ posts to a WordPress website (I am not the owner, my co-author is) and I noticed that in some posts tags just randomly disappear, leafing 3-4 out of 10ish tags I added in the first place. Some tags I add manually, as in I type them, some I add from the drop-down that appears after typing a few letters, some I choose from the popular tag list – it doesn’t matter how I add the tags, they still disappear. Why is that and how do I stop it? It’s not even the same tags that keep disappearing, it’s completely random from my perspective.

100 tags on a single post!
That’s spamdexing (tag spamming) and Google will not accept that. Your will be a spammer to the search engines. Also the post will not appear in the WordPress.COM Reader or one the Tags pages.
Traffic comes from the Reader and all reasons for non-appearance of posts on Topics pages and in the WordPress.com Reader can be found here > http://en.support.wordpress.com/topics/#missing-posts
1. You are using too many categories or tags. In most cases, there’s no need to assign more than a handful of tags per post. If you use more than 15 tags and categories (total), your posts will not appear on tag pages (because you don’t want to see irrelevant content showing up there, and neither do we).

BTW you failed to provide the URL of the site you are
referring to. We provide support here only for sites on WordPress.COM servers. You could be posting to the wrong support forum.To save you time you can type the actual URL of the site you are referring to into http://whoishostingthis.com to determine who hosts the site so you know where to post for support.
WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different username accounts, logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support documentation and separate support forums. @timethief – where on earth did you read that I add 100+ tags :O ? I very clearly said I add about 10 tags – “leaving 3-4 tags out of 10ish tags I added in the first place”.
