Tags dont appear on my blog

Hi All,
I’m a newbie with regard to wordpress and blogging. My blog is oracle4newbies.wordpress.com I currently have the “Dusk by Becca Wei” theme. I added tag cloud widget to the theme but no tags appear. I have 7 tags created. What am I missing here. Help please!!!!! Thanks in advance.The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

1st, only posts can have tags.
2nd, your posts must have tags added to them for the tags to actually appear in the tag cloud.
3rd, you only have one post, and it doesn’t have any tag added to it. -
Many Thanks husdal. As rightly pointed by you, I changed all my content from pages to posts and added the widget recent posts so that they appear on the right. I now have a questions with regard to the content shown on each post. I just realized that all my content are shown in 2 pages and also the complete content is shown. I read somewhere that I could restrict it to a gist of content(lets say 10 lines) instead of the entire content. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Many Thanks husdal. I have made changes with the more button. I have another question. Why do not I have front page options available under Administration > Settings > Reading panel.
no “front” page no “posts” Page
Is it specific to themes? or should it be available for all themes? I read the following from one of wordpress help docs. Is it for me?
