tags have inconsistent capitalization?

I’m new to wordpress, so forgive my ignorance.

I created a post today, and tried to tag it with “Recordings” and “Saxophone”. It came out with “Recordings” and “saxophone” (note the lower-case ‘s’).

Now I don’t care if my tags are capitalized or not, but I find it aesthetically displeasing when some are one way and some are the other. I have tried deleting the lower-case saxophone and adding capitalized Saxophone, but when I do so it shows up uncapitalized again in the list.

    Am I missing something?

I have a hunch (although it is no more than that) that the capitalization of the tag is set by the first person on WordPress to use the tag. I don’t know how you’d go about trying to change it, sorry.

Actually, I think this is about Categories, not tags. me culpa.

I see no way to edit my post to correct my mistake. Sorry.

If you go to Manage in the upper blue bar and then to Catagories in the lower bar you can edit your Tags. At least you can in the theme I use. I am glad you asked because I wanted to fix a couple of mine and you reminded me to figure out how. Which I just did.

Hey, I just found that. Manage -> Categories -> Edit. Thanks, and sorry for the newbie stuff.

BTW there should be the word edit next to the time of your post (upper right side). Click on that to edit your post. :)
