I keep entering markup and then go to view it before publishing/updating a page, then when i switch back to ‘TEXT’ mode it removes all the line-breaks, both
and sometimes . How to do i stop workpress from altering my layout/formatting when switching between visual/text modes? This is very annoying. The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hey w3av1l,
This can happen for a couple of reasons.
As a first step, I’d suggest that you check your HTML markup. Is it valid and complete? If WordPress detects invalid markup, it will be removed when switching back to visual editing mode.
WordPress will also remove certain tags that have been added into the text area. Paragraph tags <p> for example, will be removed, unless they include attributes. e.g.
<p style="color: #0085be">This text will be blue, and will remain styled when switching back to the Visual Editor</p>If the information that you’re adding is critical, I would suggest sticking to the HTML editor window, and not switching back to the Visual Editor :)
