tags mysteriously renamed with “-2” suffix

    Hi Everyone, my site is all of a sudden showing a strange behaviour: when adding tags to a post, even if selecting from existing tags, for some unknown reason the system adds a “-2” to each category names, which means that my indexing pages no longer works.

    Can anyone suggest a fix? For instance I just added the (existing) tag “weaving draft” to this post, but as you can see if I click on the just added tag, in the web address it appears as “weaving-draft-2/“.

    I have tried to edit the category, but the “-2” is not appearing, so I am at a loss as to what to do to fix this, indeed to avoid it happening it in the first place. It seems to be doing this “-2” with all posts.
