Tags not leading to other tagged posts
-
Hello there,
I have switched my site’s theme to Bueno earlier today. It’s a nice theme, however I am having some problems with the tags and categories which appear next to the posts.
The categories and the tags which I use for the post appear next to each post. However, when I click them, they don’t lead to other links from the same category or with the same tag – They lead to the wordpress.com site which usually says “sorry, we don’t have any posts with that tag”, (since I use specialized tags which fit my site’s topics) which kind of misses the point of using tags. I am trying to link my site’s posts one to another. Instead I’m getting a bunch of dead links.
How can I change that? The tags and categories are still useful for the tag cloud, and the category menu on the sidebar (which is why i still use them) – however they are useless and distracting inside the posts themselves. If they cannot be used to link inside the blog, i would rather take them off all together. However, I haven’t found any option to do that as well.Help, somebody?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

The tags on each post link to the WordPress tag search – the Tag Cloud tags search your blog. Just a different purpose for each location.

To add to what teamoyeniyi said, in some themes (such as iNove and Coraline, I think) the tags below each post point to your own blog.

arrrrrrrrrrr indeed,
just after changing my theme today.
well i guess there is no such thing as a perfect theme. each of them has problems.
the current ones that bug me about my blog are this issue, as well as the tag cloud showing only part of the tags, as well as the absence of any all time most-viewed widget.Whatever, you live with what have…
(Or take the time to learn to program yourself…) -
btw, is that something that could be changed through dabbling with the wordpress css code? is dabbling with css code possible in wordpress.com?
-
Dabbling is possible if you buy the upgrade. Whether that particular dabbling is possible one of our CSS gurus will have to answer. :D

Custom CSS can change the appearance of the blog. It cannot be used to change the PHP code so that the theme works differently (for example, so that the tag links point to your own blog). More info here:
