Tags still showing on post

Add topic to favorites
Hi,

I chose my tags, and categories, but turned the off in each post so they do not show (about an hour ago) I did post since then too, but they are still showing up. I read something about “refreshing” too, but not sure what that means, other than refreshing the site myself. Is that something the program does on a time frame or something and I just have to wait for it to occur ? Thanks

I went into the READING area and took out the check marks that said to”show them in posts”

Settings > Reading > Enhanced Feeds

Does that keep them from showing under each post?

That setting is for your RSS feed – independent of the Post on your site.

Tags and categories cannot be “turned off” on your posts if you are using tags and categories.

The only theme here that you can hide tags and categories on is the iNove theme (under theme options). With some themes you can hide them if you have the CSS upgrade and some experience with editing CSS, but that cannot be done on all themes.

oh! OK! Do have to have the check marks in those boxes then to be included in the Search engines?

And is there any way to keep the tags and categories from showing under my posts?
