We assign categories and/or tags to post for our reader’s convenience. They can click the category or tag and locate all posts in the blog assigned to it.

If you have assign a combined total that exceeds 15 Categories/Tags to your posts they will not be displayed.Despite the idiotic “advice” bloggers give each other neither Categories nor Tags are required for SEO purposes and spamdexing (excessive tagging) is rampant.
The rule of thumb is to assign the least (not the most) combined number of relevant categories and tags that accurately describe the post content.
