Tags – when will they work again?

Being a novice, I took your advice and added more tags ONLY because you guys advised it after I posted. I really only wanted to tag a few places, but I trusted your advice. A few weeks ago I found tags not working and after a web search for a solution, I realized I added too many. The post also referred to President Obama’s visit to the town I live in so I assume it was thought I was name dropping. Not sure, but I suppose I should never name famous people anymore if when they’re standing in front of me.
I am wondering now just how long I am supposed to wait before the tags start working again. If they are never going to work again, I would be better off to just stop blogging here and blog elsewhere. I am sorry this has had to happen, but please explain how long I must wait to prove I’m not trying to abuse the system, or un-suspend my blog tags.

The tags aren’t working for me, using three different computers. I click on them – any of them – and it returns me to the blog page.

Yes, they should be returning you to your blog’s tag archive pages.
We’re working on the global tag pages now, so they’re just linking to your own tag archive pages.

Unfortunately, we cannot provide a timeline as to when the global tags feature will be turned back on. However, feel free to pop back in with any questions/updates :)
