tags with a hyphen

  I have noticed that three of my tags are listed with hyphens. For example: humor-2, food-2, flash fiction-2.

  After checking support, I realize that I was using too many categories and tags…not understanding that too many results in not making it to the global tags. I’ve since reduced the number but yet still find -2 on some of my tags.

  Why is that and what can I do to fix?

  The -2 is added whenever a tag is created that duplicates a category on the blog. To get ride of the -2, you’ll need to delete both the category and tag, then create a new one.
