tags won’t post
-
I have two different blogs. I have tried to add tags to some older posts by using the “Post Tags” box in my dashboard to the right of my editing box. I have written in four or five tags and hit the “Add” button, but my stats still show zero tags for that post. This has happened for every post on both blogs. I am basically computer literate, but not particularly “blog” literate, so a very simple answer is what I need. I also logged out of both blogs and then went back on – just in case it waited until I came on again to show the change. Nothing. I haven’t tried to add a tag to a new post yet. Any suggestions? Thanks You.

Hello,
I noticed that my Add Tags button isn’t working at all. I tried multiple times in both visual and html mode and nothing is posting. Please advice!
Thank you,

Here is my link and I don’t understand why there is a 2 at the end of the link.

Thank you,

Regarding tags not being added, please make sure that you have JavaScript enabled: http://www.google.com/support/accounts/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=23852
As for the -2 at the end of the URL, it usually means that you already have another post or page with the same title or slug, and the -2 was added to keep the slug unique.
In your case, the post that shared the title was moved to the Trash, but posts in the Trash technically still exist until you empty the Trash (so they can be recovered if necessary).
If you empty the Trash, you’ll be able to edit the slug on the existing post to remove the -2 following this guide: http://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/post-title-url/
