Take Archives Off?

Is there a way to make the archives monthly list un-shown on my page? If not, could i possibly take it out using my css script?

Isn’t that a widget? As you have hidden the footer, I can’t tell what theme you started with. If it is a widget, just remove it.

No, I have paid for a custom CSS and I am only using the sidebar widget. I am guessing there is no way to remove the archives section. Thank you anyway.

@maryobrien, when you go to design > widgets, does it show any widgets as being in your sidebar? If not, what you are seeing is the default sample set which shows an example of what the theme looks like with widgets.
In that case, add the widgets you want to the sidebar and then click “save changes.” Then, only the widgets you installed will show in the sidebar.
