take down pdf file download from google

    Hello, until recently, I had a pdf link on one of my posts and found out that it would come up in the search result in google. I deleted the link on the post and thus, there should be no more pdf download in the google search result, but the same search result is still visible. If you search ‘bychloepark’ in google, there is a pdf download result with the title of ‘표준 경량 블록 암호 알고리즘들의 분석과 사물인터넷에~’. I would like to found out how I can take this down.

    Hey there,

    Google may take a while to deindex deleted posts and WordPress has no control over that process.

    My understanding is that search engines like Google and Bing only delete their caches of deleted indexed every 3 – 6 months.

    It is still possible to remove a whole page from search results manually.
