Take down site temporarily

    I would like to take down my blog temporarily. While I intend to update and maintain it in the future, I simply don’t have the time now, and don’t want to leave an untended blog with my name on it out there. It doesn’t look good. So I would like to keep the domain (and if possible the content) there, but suspend it from the Web for now. If deleting/removing the content is the best way to do that, I’m ok with that also.

    Hey there,
    You can empty your site of all content (to keep your address) and change your privacy settings to make your blog private. To empty your site content:

    Empty Your Site to Start Fresh

    To make your site private go to > Settings > Reading, then scroll to Blog Visibility and choose option 3. For your reference:

    I’m glad you are choosing to empty the content vs. deleting your site. Smart move. Once your site is deleted, you can never get it back.
